Step-by-step how-to guide install the Dashticz, on a Raspberry Pi 4, with the latest Raspbian Buster image and Domoticz.
In this how-to we will be using the latest version that by now incorporates the beta version 3 update. As this version includes, besides more then a couple fixes, also a fully automated installation script that works very, very well.
This how-to is part of a bigger series of Domoticz how-to’s on sancla.com!
- Running Domoticz installation with stable Raspbian Buster release and SSH access. See my previous post for a how-to:
- Raspbian Buster Lite 4.19, September 2019
- Domoticz Stable 4.10717
- Dashticz dated January 2th, 2020
Step 1 – Install Dashticz
Connect to your Raspberry Pi with SSH to install Dashticz and it’s requirements. Execute these commands in the same order to install it next to the Domoticz folder. You don’t have to create the /dev folder, it is not necessary.
